I just jumped off a call with a fellow EFT’er, and we had such a wonderful chat that I feel motivated and inspired to keep growing as a person. Looking back, I realised that my passion for personal development didn’t fade after I stepped away from being a counsellor. I kept reading books, exploring different ideas, and learning, but the truth was, I rarely followed through on the exercises those books recommended. I’d tell myself, “I’ll come back to that part”...but I rarely did! This is a common pattern: while we know growth is important, taking action can be the hardest part.
